Preview My Client’s FoxFX Show

Here are some behind the scenes shots of Fox FX’s It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 4. I was booked by Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis’ to shoot their wedding back in ’07 in New Orleans, LA at the Zoo. The cast was there and it was a lovely wedding. Everyone was super nice and we all had a great time! If you’re a fan of Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, or funny, edgy, comedy, in general, you should definitely check them out. Seasons 1-3 available on DVD now at every store near you. Buy it! Warning: It’s not for the faint of heart.

Promotional Photo Shoot With Jason Norman

I needed a couple of photos of myself for the site, so it’s a good thing I have my great friend Jason Norman of Norman Photography. I was able to quickly arrange to meet at his huge, exposed brick, studio to take some promotional shots for the new website.

It’s a very cool and relaxed atmosphere there with an upscale New York aesthetic. The studio resides in the old Mobile, AL bakery located on Dauphin St in midtown. We were able to take some shots on a Grey backdrop and then the top floor (which is an awesome emptied-out, exposed brick, space), and then on the roof over looking midtown – all the way to the RSA tower (the tallest building in Alabama).

In the event you or someone you know should need wedding photography, Norman Photography is the most well-respected and accomplished photo business in the entire area – hands down.

Phone Interview With The Bride

“There Are No Scripts And No Second Takes… This Is Real. This Is Exciting!”

Here is the second part of the new demo DVD. It contains vignettes of my wedding footage intertwined with excerpts of an over-the-phone interview with a bride/client of mine from New York City, NY. Her wedding will take place in Montgomery, AL in the Fall of ’09 and she decided to add this service to her package.

The phone interview is a great addition to the Essential Package and gives the final DVD a personal insight and narrative to the bride’s feelings about her wedding day. Recording this phone interview before the wedding gives a rare opportunity to document the bride’s/groom’s excitement, nervousness, and joy about their day to come. I am able to ask the important questions in a tactful and candid way – there are no scripts, and no second-takes. This is a most exciting service that I am proud to innovate and integrate into my client’s wedding videos should they choose to do so.

Notice the mixing and editing of the audio… How delicately the interview blends with the natural sounds of the footage and the use of the song being played. These are the moments after… The first moments as husband and wife; these slices of time will only occur once. Here are some moments captured during my past few weddings. Then to the reception… The bride and groom will get to unwind and socialize with their closest friends and family. They’ll meet new family members, create lasting memories, and have the best time of their life. When it’s all said and done they’ll remember that, fortunately, they had me there to film everything.
